34 Titanium Watches For Every Budget

Timex Giorgi Galli S2Ti

Titanium is currently in its prime as a popular watchmaking material. From microbrands to industry staples and haute horology marvels, the material is a staple at all levels of watchmaking. The sheer number of new titanium watches might be overwhelming but here’s our guide to the best titanium watches you can buy.

Before kicking things off, the boom in titanium’s popularity is down to several factors. Firstly, it’s an incredible material with properties watchmakers covet such as corrosion resistance, durability and being lightweight. Secondly, its naturally dark grey colour offers a contrast to some of the brighter colours watchmakers are using, making for a more pleasing visual design. Lastly, and perhaps more cynically, titanium is more available than ever before, steadily replacing steel as the go to material of choice in certain areas. All of which means titanium is the material of the moment.

Venezianico Neireide Titanio

Venezianico Neireide Titanio

On a cultural level, titanium has a thematic relationship to Venice, the home of Venezianico. Titanium is named after the titans, mythological beings from Greco-Roman folklore and Venice is full of iconography dedicated to them. The most famous piece of iconography being the statue of Atlas holding up the world at the Doge’s Palace, depicted the watch’s solid caseback. It measures 42mm in diameter with 300m water resistance.

Formex Field Automatic

In terms of colour, the case of the Formex Field Green has a distinctive grey tone with a sand-blasted finish. It’s actually lighter in shade than many titanium watches and that helps the finish to stand out more. Hamilton Khaki Aviation Pilot Day Date Air-Glaciers

Hamilton Khaki Aviation Pilot Day Date Air-Glaciers

Inspired by air rescue teams, the Hamilton Pilot Day Date Air-Glaciers is a properly lean timepiece with no excess fat whatsoever. Timex Giorgi Galli S2Ti

Timex Giorgi Galli S2Ti

As you may be able to gather from the chemical symbol Ti in the watch’s name, this version of the watch upgrades the 38mm case from steel to titanium. Titanium has a higher strength-to-weight ratio than steel, meaning it’s much lighter on the wrist without sacrificing durability. It’s not full titanium though because it has a forged carbon middle, which is what gives the flanks their black colouration.

Ball Roadmaster Marine GMT Meteorite

Ball Roadmaster Pilot GMT Meteorite

Despite being known for large, practical tool watches, sometime Ball likes to branch out with more luxurious takes on their classic models. Plus, with a classic pepsi-style bezel it really leans into the flashier side of GMT diver design.

Tudor Pelagos FXD GMT

Tudor Pelagos FXD GMT

The Tudor Pelagos FXD reignited the watchmaker’s historic partnership with Marine Nationale, the French navy. However, this latest edition swaps the seas for the skies. The case measures 42mm in diameter in grade 2 titanium, making it very light thanks to the metal’s innate strength to weight ratio. While the lack of a proper, unidirectional diving bezel precludes it from being a professional, ISO-standard dive watch, it has a cool military aesthetic hammered home by the utilitarian grey colouring, fit for a solid pilots’ piece.

Omega Seamaster Diver 300M Bronze Titanium

Omega Seamaster Diver 300M Bronze Titanium

Ressence Type 9

Ressence Type 9

The new watch, available in either grey or aqua, is essentially a redesign of the Type 8 from 2022. The fundamental change is that they’ve moved the minute scale from being around the edge of the dial to being on the bezel, eliminating the need for there to be a double ring around the edge of the design and slimming the watch considerably. The Type 9 measures 39mm x 11mm as opposed to the Type 8 at 42.9mm x 11mm. It’s a substantial boost in wearability and comfort on the wrist in addition to being constructed from titanium.

Rolex Oyster Perpetual Yacht-Master 42 RLX Titanium Ref. 226627

Rolex Yacht-Master 42 RLX Titanium

Holthinrichs use cutting edge 3D printing to create their watches and the Deconstructed is no different. The case, bracelet and dial are all produced with 3D printed titanium, a first for the brand. However, for the Overseas Tourbillon Ref. 6000V/110T-B935 it’s titanium all the way, from the crown to the bezel to the case to the bracelet.
