Lebond Attraction Original Edition

Lebond Attraction Original Edition
Lebond Attraction Original Edition

Inspired by an unrealised Antoni Gaudí design, the Lebond Attraction Original Edition is crafted from sandblasted Grade 5 titanium and tells time in a way that feels more architectural than traditional. A wooden presentation case completes the nod to the futuristic structure that never was.

Vitreum Lunar Exploder

Vitreum Lunar Exploder

Created in collaboration with the @microindycollective community, the Vitreum Lunar Exploder doubles down on the kind of enamel dial work that’s making Vitreum a go to right now. The name ‘Exploder’ for the cratered, moon-like texture came from an early prototype that literally exploded coming out of the kiln thanks to excessively thick enamel layers. The final look is paired with ancient Icelandic style numerals to keep the whole thing feeling properly otherworldly.

Price and Specs:

Model: Vitreum Lunar Exploder
Case: 39.5mm diameter x 9.55mm thickness
Dial: Textured enamel crater dial with ancient Icelandic style numerals
Functions: Hours, minutes
Price: €3,000 (approx. £2,365)

  • So, a newly released review (a review dated today, and, as of 11:30 this morning) most of these watches are already unavailable (I’m referencing their own individual websites), so not great news for anybody looking to buy one of these. As I have stated in my previous comments, this is the problem with limited release numbers, particularly with watches that are attainable for the normal “man in the street” (price wise), – hopes are raised and then immediately dashed because no crystal ball was available.
I’m personally not aggrieved because none of the watches featured are my style, but that is not the point, the point is that limited numbers generally lead to disappointment. Yes, I understand that nobody wants a leftover stock of anything that they can’t sell, but, if you are confident with your own product and get your market share data right, this shouldn’t happen.
    End of gripe!

    • Hey Dezza, thanks for your comments. I just wanted to defend my choices, as I always try to pick watches that are actually available for the round-ups I put together. The Heron is indeed sold out. The Sero has not launched yet, which is why it’s showing as sold out on their website. There are still some versions of the Mandetbrote available, depending on the colour. The Lebond is not sold out either. Vitreum produce watches in very limited numbers, but availability can open up again on some models.
