Tag Heuer Launch Monaco Chronograph Inspired by Las Vegas Grand Prix

Tag Heuer Monaco Chronograph Las Vegas

Exactly a year ago to the day Tag Heuer launched the Monaco Chronograph Pink Skeleton a watch that was inspired by the bright lights of the Las Vegas strip. For 2025 Tag Heuer returns to Vegas but this time more explicitly for the Las Vegas Formula One Grand Prix with a new edition of the Monaco Chronograph based on the vibrant lights of the night race. Though with its gradient, almost neon display it looks like it would be more at home in Cyberpunk’s Night City.

Structurally, the new edition is identical to the version from last year. It measures 39mm in diameter with the Monaco’s signature square design produced in Grade 2 titanium with a black DLC coating. Provides a solid foundation upon which to built the dynamic, colourful skeletonised display.

Specifically, the Tag Heuer Monaco Chronograph Las Vegas’ dial has a pink – blue vertical gradient that conjures images of bright lights over head of the dark circuit in the dead of night. Not that the atmosphere of the Las Vegas Grand Prix is dead, in fact it’s the exact opposite, vibrant and full of energy. It’s quite the spectacle to see one the world’s most famous cities brought to a standstill in support of the top echelon of motorsport with grand stands flanked by the iconic skyline of the city.

Adding a point of visual emphasis are the turquoise hands that are coated with Super-LumiNova. Though the more impactful visual is actually when you look at the exhibition caseback, which has an iridescent metallization finish that create a chromatic aberration style effect. It makes the movement appear almost luminous through its surface in shades of purple and blue.

The movement itself is TH20-00, an automatic column wheel chronograph movement introduced in 2023. Its 80-hour power reserve makes it one of Tag Heuer’s most high spec movements, finished in style with Côtes de Genève. It has the classic array of chronograph functions with central hours, minutes and chronograph seconds, 12-hour counter, 30-minute counter, small seconds and openworked date.

As for pricing and availability, the Tag Heuer Monaco Chronograph Las Vegas is a limited edition of 600 pieces at CHF 11,000 (approx. £10,500). Pair this with the new Christopher Ward C1 Bel Canto Lumiere and you would have one hell of a glow in the dark two watch collection.
