Ronaldo Attends Opening of Jacob & Co.’s Largest Ever Boutique

Jacob and Co Boutique Opening Jacob Arabo Mr Nour Beydoun Riyadh

Jacob & Co. have never done things by halves. They create some of the most outrageous, luxurious and frankly insane pieces of haute horology in the world. Such extreme watchmaking deserves an equally ambitious showroom. Which is why Jacob & Co. have opened their largest boutique in the world, based in Riyadh.

The new boutique is situated right in the heart of Riyadh on Olaya Street, the most prestigious high street in Saudi Arabia.

The fact that it is based in Saudi Arabia makes the attendance of the guest of honour at the opening gala make more sense – I’m of course talking about Cristiano Ronaldo who recently joined the Al Nassr team on a multi-year contract.

Cristiano Ronaldo and Mr Jacob Arabo

Ronaldo has a long history of wearing Jacob & Co. watches and is reportedly personal friends with Jacob Arabo. Considering that he has collaborated with them on the CR7 collection that certainly seems to be the case. At this point, he may as well be an official Jacob & Co. ambassador.

Fancy galas and celebrities aside, the new boutique features a huge front display with Jacob & Co.’s signature star pattern spanning over 40m. The boutique itself occupies an area of 220sqm, which is what gives it the distinction of being their largest store in the world. It’s the third new Jacob & Co. boutique to open this year, showing that while some may scoff at their outrageous designs, they’re clearly showing major signs of growth.
