Swatch has announced a new edition of the Omega x Swatch MoonSwatch dubbed the Mission to the Moonphase featuring Snoopy. The Moonswatch has had a bit of a chequered past since it was initially launched two years ago with the original models being immensely popular but the hype petering out over the course of 2023 with the golden hand series.
However, earlier this year Swatch released an advert for the MoonSwatch the featured Snoopy, hinting that a Snoopy edition of the watch was on the way, rekindling interest in the collection. Here’s how and where to buy the new watch.

As with all previous MoonSwatch releases, the Omega x Swatch Snoopy MoonSwatch Mission to the Moonphase is a boutique exclusive. Meaning you can only buy it from select physical Swatch stores across the country and it will not be available online (that is until people inevitably start flipping them at scalper prices).
The Swatch website lists the stores where it will be available in the UK as: London Battersea Power Station, London Carnaby Street, London Covent Garden, London Harvey Nichols, London Oxford Street, London Westfield White City, Glasgow Buchanan Galleries, Liverpool Paradise Street and Edinburgh Princess Street.

The watches go on sale on March 26th (next Tuesday) which is when the next full moon is expected. Full moon is also the nickname for the Mission to the Moonphase thanks to its full white case and dial as well as the integration of a moonphase complication onto one of the chronograph subdials. It’s the moonphase where you can see Snoopy lying on the moon, the cartoon character who has become NASA’s mascot – the Silver Snoopy Award being the space agency’s highest honour and one that has been awarded to Omega for their role in averting the Apollo 13 disaster. Additionally, in low light conditions the Snoopy quote “I can’t sleep without a night light!” is revealed across the moonphase in lume.

In terms of price and availability, the watch is £270, making it the most expensive MoonSwatch to date. Which is understandable considering the added complexity of the moonphase dial. While it is not a limited edition, there is limited availability with sales of the watch restricted to one per day, per person, per Swatch boutique.

Similar restrictions on previous launches have led to people wearing disguises in order to return to the same boutique to buy more. On top of that, it’s likely that many boutiques will sell out of the watch and restocks may be sporadic. All of which means there will be long queues outside the boutiques on Tuesday morning.

The Swatch group is a total disgrace to the brand Omega. I don’t understand why people buy this trash knowing it will last 5years or less and it can’t be serviced.
