If you missed out on the initial drop of the MoonSwatch Mission to Moonshine Gold fear not, Swatch has just announced on Instagram that the cult watch is heading for 11 new cities on 6th April. Last month, Swatch and Omega’s collaboration caught the watch world by surprise and while it isn’t technically a limited edition its limited availability at only four store locations (London, Zurich, Tokyo & Japan) for one day only created scarcity that only the holy trinity of watchmakers can rival. This exclusivity has seen the Mission to Moonshine breaking sales records and selling for up to four times its retail price on the grey market.

Thankfully Swatch is expanding distribution to new stores in Shanghai, Berlin, Madrid, New York, Hong Kong, Macao, Geneva, Rome, Manchester, Yokahama, Sydney, Toronto, Naucalpan de Juárez, and Seoul. Though, we’d advise you get there very early if you want to beat the round-the-block queues.
Despite the huge demand, Swatch has confirmed that it will not be selling the MoonSwatch online. For many this will be the only way to get one. Now, where did I put my tent.
