Kienzle was originally founded in 1822 and initially specialised in grandfather clocks before transitioning to dashboard clocks and aviation watches in the 20th century. In 1933 they opened a branch in Italy which remains a prominent part of the business as Kienzle Italia. Their designs focus on professional tool watches and particularly pilot’s watches with retro styles.
