Ever wondered what a jellyfish would look like as a watch? Yeah… don’t worry, us neither. But what do you know, those crazy fellas at MB&F have thought just that! So the aquapod isn’t quite as disturbingly squishy as its aquatic inspiration, but still… it’s just as strange.

Visually it’s a series of concentric rings, with the outermost a solid block of lume. That’s just the diving bezel though; further in the rings denote the hours and minutes respectively. Under that umbrella shape you have a strap and not much else – hence the jellyfish shape.

In the centre you can see the movement and we don’t need to tell you that it’s pretty flawless. This is MB&F at their best. We wouldn’t personally try diving with the thing to meet its contemporaries of the deep, but if you’re a fan of borderline crazy modern design, we’d buy it.
