Audemars Piguet Expand Royal Oak Offshore Chronograph and Diver Collections for 2026

Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore 2026

The Royal Oak Offshore, designed by Emmanual Gueit, is essentially the tool watch cousin to the sporty-chic Royal Oak original. It’s bolder and more rugged, with alternative strap options rather than the ubiquitous integrated metal bracelet. For 2026 they’ve expanded two of the core families under the Offshore umbrella with new references added to the Royal Oak Offshore Selfwinding Chronograph and Royal Oak Offshore Diver collections.

Royal Oak Offshore Selfwinding Chronograph

While it would be fun to point to the Royal Oak Offshore Selfwinding Chronograph 43mm as evidence that our predictions about the return of big watches is correct, the truth is that it’s one of the collections that stayed big even when vintage proportions and smaller sizes were starting to pick up steam in 2024. There are two additions to the collection in 2026 expansion, a ceramic and titanium edition and then a titanium and ceramic edition – yes, those are two different things.

The ceramic and titanium edition has a blue ceramic case to match the Bleu Nuit, Nuage 50 series released last year in honour of the colour of the dial on the first Royal Oak. The ceramic is paired with several titanium components, including the chronograph pusher and crown guards, caseback frame, screws and integrated lugs. The same colours are found on the dial with blue chronograph subdials and a silver tone Mega Tapisserie face.

Second is the titanium and ceramic version, which expands the amount of titanium on display to include the case body itself, leaving only the bezel, crown and pushers as ceramic. This time the ceramic elements are black, which works well in conjunction with the olive green strap, smoked green dial and sand-tone timing scales. It’s got the same strong military vibe as the fatigues that might be worn between the tropics and equator.

Both versions house the 4401 calibre with 70-hour power reserve and 4 Hz frequency. In terms of price, the blue ceramic edition is priced at £50,700 while the titanium green edition is £36,700. They might be AP’s answer to tool watches, but they are far from an accessible daily wearer.

Royal Oak Offshore Diver

Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Diver

The Royal Oak Offshore Diver is a niche series even within the niche of the Offshore. However, it has a special place in my heart because it was one of the first Audemars Piguet watches I wrote about for Oracle Time when they launched the modern series in 2021. Now the collection is being expanded with three new colourways.

Structurally, the three new watches are identical to that 2021 series, measuring 42mm in diameter, produced in steel, with a second crown at 10 o’clock for adjusting the internal bezel that echoes the shape of the standard crown at 3. They even house the same movement, the calibre 4308 with 60-hour power reserve. What is new are the colours.

In my opinion the most fun addition is the Ref. 15720ST.OO.A010CA.01, which in more simple terminology is the black and pink version. Candy floss pink is not a colour I associate with the normally quite serious Audemars Piguet who tend to stick to more traditional colours such as blue, black, green and the precious metal colours. It gives a pop of colour that works really well in partnership with the dive watch display, adding an element of contrast that is eye-catching while remaining legible.

A similar style of display is found on the black and turquoise edition, which simply trades the pink elements of the above model for the turquoise. It feels a bit brighter due to the matching colour rubber strap whereas the pink model is presented on white. Last of the three is a more conventional colour scheme in AP’s signature blue with a black and white inner bezel. All three watches are priced at £25,900.
