Tissot PRX Goes Mint Green in Fun New Colourway

Now, Tissot are expanding the range of colours available for the quartz model with the new Tissot PRX Mint.

Like its predecessors, it has a 40mm diameter case in a tapering tonneau style, creating the strong outline and silhouette that gives it its sports luxe pedigree. That aesthetic is further enhanced by the quick release, integrated bracelet in stainless steel, which matches the finish and style of the case.

However, the primary focus of this watch is the new dial colouration. Green continues to be a popular colour in fashion and watches and the mint shade used here is particularly pleasing. It’s a similar summery pastel to Oris’ cotton candy, and it works incredibly well on a watch as fun and fresh as the PRX.

As part of the quartz range, it houses the ETA F06.115 with time and date functions. Of course, it would be preferable if it housed an automatic movement like the Powermatic 80, which is a great movement. But it’s worth remembering that quartz does have its advantages such as accessibility, accuracy and a power reserve that you never have to worry about (at least for a few years).
