The SevenFriday Virtual Music Festival

The SEVENFRIDAY YFPF

If you thought music festivals were a thing of the past then we have a surprise for you. Sure, crowding hundreds of thousands of people into a sweaty arena isn’t the best idea in a pandemic climate, but cult watch brand SEVENFRIDAY has a solution: the Your Favourite Pyjama Festival.

TFPF is, as the name suggests, a stay-at-home virtual festival (not an off-kilter dress-up affair if that’s what you were thinking) which will take place today and tomorrow via Zoom. If you’re one of the five people in the world that hasn’t used Zoom yet, that means no installation and quick, easy access to the event.

Of course, a festival is only as good as its artists, and YFPF is no exception. Fortunately, under the guidance of Shawn Stockman (of the legendary BoyzIIMen) there’s sure to be a serious line-up – across all three festival destinations.

In LA, that means a private performance from Stockman at his home, along with whoever happens to ring his bell over the next couple of days. In Berlin, expect a frenetic mix of techno and club music with a healthy dose of Balkans jazz, while Mumbai will see Asian house frontrunner Madoc take centre stage with special guests.

We’re all running low on live music at these days and, whether you adore an Adriatic sax solo or not, SEVENFRIDAY’s virtual festival is set to be one hell of a celebration. And let’s be honest, we all need that a little.

The SEVENFRIDAY YFPF takes begins today at 8pm. To join the fun, click here.
