Oracle Time Watch Awards 2023 Reader’s Shortlist Pre-Selection

It’s time to submit your nominations for the Oracle Time Watch Awards 2023 shortlist in partnership with Finnies. You can check out the full Watch Awards announcement here to learn more. However, right now we want you to tell us your favourite watches across the 10 categories below. In order for your nominations to be accepted, they simply need to be appropriate for their category and released in the last 12 months.

If you want a little guidance, here’s a general rule of thumb: a dive watch must have at least 100m water resistance, a travel watch should have either a GMT or Worldtime complication, an accessible watch should be less than £1,000, high complications include tourbillons, perpetual calendars and minute repeaters etc. Of course, the Reader’s Choice award is an exception in that it is completely open and you may nominate watches that you have already selected in other categories.

Nominations close on September 15th, at which point the top eight watches per category will be collated into the official Reader’s Shortlist. We’ll then throw it back to you in October for the final voting stage, the result of which will be announced first in our December magazine and a week later online.
