Last night, Oracle Time members took over IWC’s Bond Street flagship to get hands-on with the new Portugieser Chronograph Ceratanium – and what an evening it was.
The Portugieser was the undisputed star, marking the first time the public could try it on for size. Well, unless you count Ed Sheeran, who let the cat out of the bag earlier that day at his Melbourne concert in Australia.
Across the multi-storey boutique, collectors swapped stories, debated dials, and discussed all things IWC. Add champagne, canapés, and a boutique that feels more like a modern members’ club than a shop, and you’ve got a recipe for a very good Thursday night.
A huge thank you to everyone who came along. If you missed out, there are plenty more events where this came from – especially as we build towards Hands On Horology 2026. Oracle Time members get free entry, 10 print issues delivered to their door, special discounts, and access to collaboration watches. Sign up now to make sure you’re on the list.
