Mr Jones Enter 2026 with Feline Fine Wristwatch

Mr Jones Feline Fine

The New Year has just started and so far in 2026 everything is fine. Or perhaps everything is fucked. Or maybe it’s somewhere in between. That’s the premise behind the Mr Jones Feline Fine, a comedic wristwatch that acknowledges that it’s ok to not be ok. You can’t be at your best all the time; who needs to stick to a New Year’s resolution anyway?

Central to the watch’s design is the cartoon of a cat wrapped in a blanket, wearing sunglasses and smoking a cigarette like Patsy Stone after a tough night out. Behind them, a Molotov cocktail serves as the watch’s hour hand while a lighter tracks the minutes. They’re set against a backdrop that’s half white and half black, as imperfect and messy as the central protagonist themselves. The use of black and white is intentional because there’s a transparent rotating disc over the top of the dial inscribed with the phrases ‘everything is fine’ and ‘everything is fucked’ in black, meaning they periodically appear and disappear.

Mr Jones Feline Fine

The distinctive style of the cartoon character and associated accessories comes from the work of Eleanor Dalzell, a British illustrator whose work covers topics such as relationships, relatability and notions such as self-sabotage, fear and anxiety. Seen through a comic lens of course because what’s funnier than trauma – schadenfreude at its finest.

Mr Jones Feline Fine

Feline Fine, which I’m only now registering as a pun for feeling fine, is presented in a 37mm case made from steel with a black PVD coating. It has a smooth, round design with brushed finishing visible beneath the coating. An understated design that puts the focus on the central figure of the cat. Inside is a quartz movement.

Mr Jones Watches Feline Fine

The Mr Jones Feline Fine is a permanent addition to their collections and is priced at £225. A watch that fuses cynicism, comedy and cats – it’s a very British start to 2026.
