Jaeger-LeCoultre Unveil Reverso 2026 Collection with Classic Small and Tribute Small Seconds

Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Tribute Duoface Small Seconds

Last month Jaeger-LeCoultre revealed a Metiers d’Art series of Reversos at Watches & Wonders inspired by nature and artworks. Now though, they’ve unveiled the core Reverso 2026 Collection, featuring updated movements, fresh dimensions and modern reinterpretations of classic design elements. There are 4 models in the collection, so let’s get to it.

Reverso Classic Small Monoface

Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Classic Small Monoface (5)

The Reverso Classic Small Monoface is designed to be a modern reinterpretation of early Reversos. Its 35.78mm x 21mm x 7.4mm dimensions are a call back to the smaller proportions of vintage watches, when even men’s watches were slim and elegant. The monoface structure – where one side of the reversible body features a dial and the other is metallic – is based on the original purpose of the watch, which was to offer protection to the delicate dial while the wearer took part in vigorous activity such as polo.

Available in either steel or pink gold, this is perhaps the purest expression of the Reverso’s DNA in the modern collection. It’s powered by the new version of the calibre 846 manual-winding movement, equipped with a modern silicon escapement for improved friction and magnetic field resistance. It also has a wider power barrel, boosting the power reserve from 38-hours to 50-hours, a significant increase.

The steel edition is priced at £7,200 on alligator strap, £8,000 on steel bracelet and then the gold is £16,000. That puts them on the more accessible end of the Reverso price range.

Reverso Classic Small Duetto

Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Classic Small Duetto

As you might gather from JLC’s naming conventions, the Duetto features a dial on both sides of the reversible body. One side features the classic Art Deco style rectangular display with a centre rectangle with sunray burst motif and Arabic numerals, the other side is then circular with elongated index hour markers.

The cases here measure 34.2mm x 21mm x 8.7mm, again in either steel or pink gold. However, there are actually three versions of the watch. One of the steel editions and the gold version have diamond-set gadroons on the reverse face in keeping with the traditional layout of vintage Duetto models. The third model is then a ‘Double Set’ steel edition with diamonds on both sides of the watch.

Powering the Duetto is the calibre 844, which has the same upgrades as the 846 with improved resistances and extended 50-hour power reserve. For price it’s £11,200 – £39,400 depending on material and bracelet combinations.

Reverso Classic Monoface ‘Origin’

Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Classic Monoface Origin

The Reverso Classic Monoface ‘Origin’ is a new variant of a model introduced in 2025 as a modern reinterpretation of the 1931 ladies Reverso – the first model designed specifically with a feminine slant. That means it has even smaller proportions than the Classic Small models above, measuring 32.5mm x 16.3mm x 7.9mm.

Where this 2026 edition differs from last year’s version is the addition of diamonds on the gadroon of the dial side, which can be hidden when you reverse the watch to its metal side. Like the Duetto models above, it’s a direct homage to vintage references. It houses a quartz movement and is priced at £6,150 on alligator leather strap or £7,000 on bracelet.

Price and Specs:

Model: Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Classic Monoface 'Origin'
Ref: Q3878560 / Q3878160

Reverso Tribute Duoface Small Seconds

Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Tribute Duoface Small Seconds

Last but by no means least is the new Reverso Tribute Duoface Small Seconds. It follows the same conceptual route as the rest of the watches in this release as it’s a smaller version of an existing model designed to make it more in line with heritage versions of the Reverso. However, the shrinking of this watch stops a bit earlier, giving it dimensions of 42.9mm x 25.5mm x 9.23mm, creating a new medium size option in the Reverso range.

In addition to the new sizing, it also introduces a new dial colour in the form of a blue-grey on the reverse side with dual time zone display. The main opaline dial also features the titular small seconds subdial at 6 o’clock. It’s my personal favourite of all the watches in this Reverso 2026 collection.

Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Tribute Duoface Small Seconds

Inside is the calibre 854 with 42-hour power reserve. It’s priced at £12,600 on calf leather strap, which oddly is £100 more than its larger small seconds counterparts and I don’t see why.
