Introducing: Hublot Classic Fusion Tourbillon Sapphire Orlinski For Only Watch

Hublot’s ongoing collaboration with Richard Orlinski is one of the more successful artsy parnterships out there but it’s still great to see them channeling that side of the brand for their latest Only Watch entry.

Here the signature facets of Orlinski’s work are rendered in sapphire, making the entire 45mm case transparent and showing off the inner workings of the skeleton tourbillon movement. In fact the only part of the case that isn’t sapphire is the bezel which is instead white gold, set with 54 baguette-cut topazes for a little colour to match the light blue rubber strap.

It’s an impressive watch that’s for sure, but is still one of the few timepieces to be eclipsed by its gift box. That’s not to put the Classic Fusion down, it’s just that a sapphire box being carried by an Orlinski ‘Wild Kong’ is one hell of a sight.

The Hublot Classic Fusion Sapphire Orlinski for Only Watch has an estimate of EUR 144,000 – 162,000.
