The Casio G Shock needs no introduction really, a no nonsense, tough as nails digital watch that is loved by watchgeeks and hipsters alike. There’s a good chance if you grew up in the 80’s and 90’s your first watch was a G-Shock.
Today Casio have released perhaps their coolest limited-edition Casio G-Shock DW5600 to date, a full-white Nasa edition. It’s the type of watch that is screaming to be paired with the latest streetwear fit and sets off our 90’ nostalgia big time. Featuring the Nasa ‘Worm Logo’ on the dial and a backlight button that when pressed displays the moon on the dial it’s the perfect watch to accompany the more upmarket Omega Speedmaster in a collection.
The all white case and strap give off a Skylab A7L spacesuit feel and there is an engraved moon depicted on the titanium caseback. Perfect for all you ‘watchanauts’ out there. It’s currently on listed on the US website at $130 and will be limited to one per household. Here’s hoping it comes to the UK very soon.
