Last week Hublot and Bavaria based boot-manufacturer Meindl revealed a new version of the Big Bang as part of this month’s Oktoberfest celebrations in Munich. Since 2005 Hublot has re-imagined and recreated their Big Bang model so many times we’ve lost count. This time around they have gone for a “Bavarian-chic” look to pay tribute to the wholesome area of, you guessed it, Bavaria.
To achieve this Hublot has, for the first time, created a case made from a dull bronze and paired it with two robust Germanic, hand-embroidered, deer leather bracelets from Meindl. The bracelet benefits from some traditional sewing on the strap for a 3D effect that completes the bucolic vibe making it a great fit for any Bavarian farmer/footballer.
The standard Big Bang measurements apply which means it’s a large watch at 45mm with a robust 72-hour power reserve and a flyback chronograph function.
The Hublot Big Bang Bavaria is limited to 100 pieces, price is yet to be announced; hublot.com
