H. Moser & Cie. Pioneer Centre Seconds Sun Berry Explodes Into Summer Colour

H. Moser & Cie. Pioneer Centre Seconds Sun Berry

H. Moser & Cie. have really been pushing the limits of colour so far in 2026 with the vivid Pioneer Tourbillon Miami at the top of that list with its pink, green and blue. However, as a limited edition of 28 pieces and a tourbillon to boot, it was exclusive to say the least. Now, H. Moser are bringing their extreme colours to a wider audience with their summer release, the Pioneer Centre Seconds Sun Berry.

The Sun Berry dial is all about striking contrasts and in your face brightness. The central sunray brushed disk of the display is deep purple while the peripheral ring and hands are electric yellow. While they’re not natural partners that you see in combination very often, there’s something magnetic about the richness of the purple and sharpness of the yellow in concert with each other. Like a summer fruits drink with a twist of lemon to cut through the sweetness. At first shocking but then enticing.

They’ve opted for a completely clean dial without so much as a minute marker or logo to interrupt the colour. Another way in which the Sun Berry bears a similarity to the Miami edition that followed the same structure except for the tourbillon at 6 o’clock. As a three-hand model, the Pioneer Centre Seconds Sun Berry is powered by the calibre HMC 201 automatic with 72-hour power reserve and bi-directional pawl winding. You can view the movement through the exhibition caseback with its skeletonised rotor and anthracite finish.

For the case, it’s a classic Pioneer model with 40mm diameter and smooth lines across the bezel and lugs. Made from steel with a 120m water resistance rating, it’s H. Moser’s take on a versatile daily wearer. Though with a five figure price tag, it’s still no adventure watch despite the name – the fact they’ve stripped it of any timing scales only emphasises that. For specific pricing the Pioneer Centre Seconds Sun Berry, is £16,000.
