Farer is a British brand dedicated to the traveller, that’s why they’re called Farer as in wayfarer. As such, while they produce a diverse range of watches that includes divers and dress watches, it’s the travel and pilot’s watches that are at the heart of what they do. For 2026 they are introducing two new references to the GMT Bezel range, one at 40mm and the other at 38mm with intricate guilloché dials.
Starting with those dials, their central focus is the barley corn guilloché across the display. The pattern is formed from intersecting spiralling lines like you’d find on a spirograph – it creates an almost hypnotic design that captures the eye, drawing you inwards towards the centre. That effect is enhanced by the subtle fumé gradient where the centre of the dial is brighter and gets darker towards the edge, creating a smoky impression.
The 40mm edition is called Nevada Pine and it’s my personal favourite of the two. The shade is really nice with its smooth transition from a dark emerald at the edge of the dial to that titular pine green in the centre and across the hands with a matte finish. The 24-hour GMT hand has a vibrant orange tip for a spot of contrast. That hand points to the bidirectional 24-hour bezel to allow the watch to display multiple time zones at once, perfect for frequent travellers crossing time zones. The bezel also has a dark green / light green split to indicate the hours of day and night at a glance.
Second is Nevada Mocha, at the slimmer 38mm diameter. It has a dark brown gradient across its guilloché dial paired with light brown accents for the hands and a portion of the 24-hour bezel. This time the GMT hand is blue rather than orange. It’s still a solid colourway but it doesn’t have quite the same impact as the Pine with its intensity.
Both versions of the watch house the Sellita SW330-2 Top Grade automatic movement with 56-hour power reserve. Being Top Grade means it has been tested for accuracy in five positions, improving its reliability in comparison to the standard version of the movement. It’s visible through the exhibition caseback where you can see the custom Farer rotor, which is skeletonised to reveal the perlage finishing beneath.
For pricing, the Farer GMT Bezel Nevada Pine and Nevada Mocha are £1,375 on the standard strap options of leather, suede and rubber, or you can order an additional steel bracelet for £190 extra. That’s consistent with the existing GMT Bezel models despite the addition of the intricate new dials.
