I had an odd reactio to this watch. When i first saw the ad (in your mag) it was the brown version and I thought, ok, thats pretty nice for Formex, i like the rustic quality. A design step up for them. But then when i saw it came in three colors it felt cheaper. I dont know if that makes sense but there are too many colors today for most brands.
i had to think about this one. I pretty much really do love the watch. And your right the strap is a big question. The green is fine but the brown leather is not. Very big difference. A bolder (not necessarily brighter mor colorful) is called for. maybe its as simple as a simple but well done bracelet. I guess i would have to try it on.
the glashutte is an excellent entry level tool watch.... budget minded (most of us) as it achieves the right balance between taste and tooliness. And reads more expensive than it is.
First, the 333 is much neglected. This one..I dislike the bracelet. Enough that it stop me buying it. I also can't say what it is I dislike exactly but it reads as cheap.
