I am surprised none feature GTLS.
No DOXA Sub?
I can't believe there is no TUDOR here, especially the Pelagos. They are actual hard core watches for the watery types, oft seen on seals I believe.
As the previous poster said "No Seiko?" - and are any of the above PADI approved? Seals like Seiko too.
The goto actual diver for people who dive is often G-SHOCK. Again several photos of actual professional people doing water stuff shows the CASIO.
RESCO have some real cred in this space. Just because you are skin diving, getting in and out of the sea is just as dangerous as you clamber over those rocks.
This article is most interesting not in what it lists, but the glaringly obvious omissions.
I saw the prototype at the British Watchmakers Day, and it is definately legible. Most importantly, when it's dark, you can have no ambiguity whatsoever.
Couldn't agree more. A quick search on AliExpress shows Chinese Cloisonne items for not many pounds.
Perhaps the term "British watch designs made by foreign artisans" is a better name for the show?
I looked up Sophie, who has a website and she is a professional watch painter. Initially given the above, I thought I'd see lots of interesting dials. Actually, her skill is in portait painting the watch itself ... i.e. I've purchased a ROLEX, somebody paint a picture of it so I can hang it on my wall. The foray into dial design is a new thing.
When goods are unobtainable, price rises are immaterial. Unless of course you are a money launderer who is colluding with an authorised dealer to facilitate racketeering, but of course that'd never happen would it.
If this is truly a "A Beginner’s Guide to Every Omega Model" then where is the game changing Speedmaster Super Racing mentioned?
This takes the accuracy and engineering standards we are used to like COSC (-4/+6 seconds), and METAS (0/+5 seconds), then looks a ROLEX's Superlative Chronometer Standards (-2/+2) and says "Superlative Meh!". This beauty is built to 0/+2 seconds per day - and has 15X+ more GAUSS resistance than ROLEX's MILGAUSS.
Surely worth a mention. I am a sucket for buying the most accurate / thinnest / lightest ... and this is top of my grail list at the moment.
