Audemars Piguet Introduce Coverage Service to Replace Stolen Watches

Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Jumbo Extra-Thin Blue

In response to the rising numbers of watch thefts across the world, Audemars Piguet has just launched a new scheme that will replace stolen or damaged watches. Customers who purchased watches from authorized dealers or AP boutiques in 2022 or 2023 are now eligible to participate in the scheme, which provides coverage in the form of an extended warranty. However, customers must register for the service within one year of purchase.

To qualify customers need to provide a police report and a picture of their watch, along with its serial number. Audemars Piguet will replace the stolen or damaged watch with a timepiece of equal or greater value than the original.

It’s important to note that this scheme is unlikely to tackle the rising problem of watch crime at the source. However, it may offer some peace of mind to Royal Oak lovers who are concerned about the theft of their valuable timepiece.

If you need more information on this scheme or how to register for it, you can contact Audemars Piguet directly.
