Another day, another limited edition Rolls-Royce, another reason to talk about some breath-takingly beautiful cars. However, where the Black Badge series went all black, here there’s a tint of colour in the dark – Aphrodite Red and Morpheus Blue to be precise.

Both feature a unique Spirit of Ecstasy in aerospace-grade carbon that takes 68 hours to build, longer than most car-makers spend on an entire vehicle. Interiors are available in cobalt blue or mandarin orange, but either choice will land you with a dashboard clock framed by 88 black laboratory-made diamonds.

It’s a more nuanced take on the contemporary cool kind of car the Black Badge started, a world away from the traditionalism of previous editions. The only question is, will you take the red Rolls or the Blue rolls?
