Audemars Piguet are regarded as one of the trinity of prestige watch brands alongside Vacheron Constantin and Patek Philippe, and at the tail end of 2026 they’re demonstrating why with the launch of five high-end watches. The five new watches are split across two thematic lines: Supersonnerie and Stone Dials with a mixture of Royal Oak and Code 11.59 references. Without further ado, let’s get into it.
Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Minute Repeater Supersonnerie 42mm

First up is the Royal Oak Minute Repeater Supersonnerie 42mm, presented in two executions called the Ref. 26591TI.OO.1252TI.08 and the Ref. 26591OR.OO.1252OR.01. They both measure 42mm x 14mm in either titanium or pink gold with the Royal Oak’s signature octagonal bezel and integrated bracelet. Along the edge of the case at 9 o’clock is the minute repeater slider that activates the chiming mechanism to sonically tell the time using the internal gongs and hammers of the movement.
What makes these models ‘Supersonneries’ is the special case and movement construction that was introduced in 2016’s RD#1, presented in the calibre 2953. What that means is there are perforations in the caseback that lead into the movement to amplify the sound quality of the chiming and make it as clear as possible. Along with patented gongs and soundboards developed in partnership with musicians and the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne. Despite the holes in the case, it still maintains a 20m water resistance rating.

In addition to the different case materials, the dials also serve to differentiate the two references. The pink gold edition has a traditional tapisserie dial with its square engravings, presented in brown with pink gold accents. The titanium edition instead has a smooth, sunray brushed dial in green with fumé gradient. Both versions are price on request.

Audemars Piguet Code 11.59 Minute Repeater Supersonnerie 41mm

Audemars Piguet’s third Supersonnerie release is the Code 11.59 Minute Repeater Supersonnerie 41mm. It uses the same calibre 2953 as the Royal Oaks above but this time presented in the round case of the Code 11.59. The case itself is made from white gold with a diameter of 42mm and a thickness of 13.6mm, again with 20m water resistance. However, as with many Code 11.59 models, the real focus of the watch is the dial.
AP have given this watch a smoked sapphire crystal dial with white gold hands and timing scales built into it. The sapphire means that you can see the inner workings of the movement through the display, revealing its superb finishing that includes brushing, polished chamfers and perlage. Because of the Supersonnerie construction, the gongs and hammers of the minute repeater are actually held on the rear of the movement closer to the perforated caseback, so you can’t see them here.

It’s fitted with a grey alligator leather strap, which completes the monochrome, grey colour scheme nicely. This is quite possibly my favourite Code 11.59 to date thanks to the quasi-industrial vibe of its exposed movement and the visible screws that hold the layers of the dial. It’s price on request.

Audemars Piguet Code 11.59 Selfwinding 38mm Obsidian and Onyx

The final launches in this Audemars Piguet winter collection are the Code 11.59 Selfwinding 38mm Obsidian and Onyx. Both with 38mm diameter x 9.6mm thickness cases in yellow or pink gold. At this size, they are much more traditional dress watches than their Minute Repeater counterpart – they are also aesthetically focussed watches rather than haute horology.
The Obsidian edition with its yellow gold case has a textured, sunray dial in the titular stone. It’s fitted with facetted, yellow gold hour markers and a peripheral 60-minute scale. In contrast, the Onyx edition is glassy and smooth with baguette cut diamond hour markers. Each offering a different interpretation of volcanic stones. Both are powered by the calibre 5909 automatic with 60-hour power reserve.

For pricing, the Code 11.59 Selfwinding 38mm Obsidian is £45,300 while the Onyx is £53,900 due to the additional diamond features.
