Tedoro is a young independent brand founded in 2025 by Gilbert Maalouf with a range of sporty integrated bracelet timepieces. Their flagship is the Harmony 39 GMT Sarab Limited Edition, which is dedicated to the brand’s Middle Eastern roots with Arabic numerals and a desert mirage inspired dial. We’ve been hands-on to learn more about the watch.
Jumping straight to the dial, it’s made from a marquetry-like pattern of interconnected mother-of-pearl tiles. The natural iridescent property of the material makes the whole dial shimmer and shift as the light plays across it with its ivory tone base accented by pearlescent green and purple. That shimmering appearance is why the model is called Sarab, which translates to mirage in English – the illusions caused by heat in the desert.

On top of the mother-of-pearl base are eastern Arabic numerals and a matching date window at 3 o’clock. Around the edge of the dial, mounted on the flange, is a 24-hour scale that corresponds to the central GMT hand to display a second time zone. That 24-hour scale is split between sand colour and white to indicate day and night. Additionally, the movement powering the GMT display is a True GMT, which means that when you’re using the screw-down crown you can jump the hour hand around in intervals of one hour without altering the rest of the display, making it easy to change your local time zone on the fly.
Zooming out from the dial, the case measures 39mm in stainless steel with a thickness of 11.7mm that means it sits comfortably on the wrist. It’s an integrated bracelet design with broad, brushed surfaces and wide facets. The H-link bracelet with alternating brushed and polished links is held on the wrist by a butterfly clasp. On top of the case is a fixed bezel with 60-minute scale.

Taking the watch off and looking at the caseback reveals a solid steel back with a depiction of the six stars of the Gulf States alongside prominent landmarks from the region. Protected by its 100m water resistance rating is the Miyota 9075 automatic true GMT movement. It has a 42-hour power reserve, which is the modern industry standard.

The Tedoro Harmony 39 GMT Sarab is limited to 300 pieces at $960 (approx. £725), which is good value given the integrated bracelet design and mother-of-pearl display. It feels like an artefact from the desert, punching above its weight in terms of elegance and style.
