Paulin Announce Neo Retirement Alongside Final John Nicol Neo Limited Edition

Paulin Neo x John Nicol

The Neo is an important watch in Scottish watch brand Paulin’s history. Introduced six years ago it helped to establish the brand as a serious player in the British watch industry as well as being their first partnership with fellow Scottish brand anOrdain, who they’d eventually become sister companies with in 2023. Now though, the Neo is being discontinued to make way for new projects and in order to give the collection a worthy send-off, Paulin has announced the Final John Nicol Neo limited edition.

For the discontinuation, it’s all the current Neo and Neo GMT models that are getting retired. They will be available for purchase until the end of the year or until they sell out, whichever comes first. So, while you don’t have unlimited time to purchase one if you’re interested, it is at least a long goodbye. Certainly, it’s more warning than we got from Rolex when they decided to discontinue one of the most famous watches of all time a few weeks ago.

The Final John Nicol Neo series is a bright and colourful celebration of the collection featuring hand-painted dials by long time friend of the brand John Nicol, an artist and teacher from Glasgow. It’s a name you might remember from the John Nicol Neo Hands On Horology Edition last year. His modernist style with distinctive use of colour makes each watch unique.
