Ernesto Pereira’s incredible Cloaked House in Portugal is designed to disappear into its lush hillside setting. Fully glazed, it is not only an unobtrusive spot on the landscape, but it also offers spectacular views across the valley below. Concrete slabs that make up the building’s floor and roof have openings to allow existing trees to grow through the building; in summer, the property is almost engulfed in luxuriant dense leafiness.
