Oracle Discovers: Tech for February 2026

Nothing Phone (3), £699

Nothing Phone 3

Personally, I wasn’t aware that the world had launched Phone (2) let alone Phone (3), I’m still working with phone. Flippant jokes aside, Phone (3) is the latest generation of Android alternative from British tech firm Nothing. It has a stylised, high-tech appearance while rocking four 50MP cameras for professional quality, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8S Gen 4 processor and AMOLED screen housed in a 160.6mm x 75.59mm x 8.99mm case.

Available at Nothing.

Plaud Note, £149

Plaud Note

Meetings and note taking are one of the perennial bugbears of business. Between inscrutable handwriting, incoherent thought processes, a lack of detail or actionable plans, it can be difficult to manage your time effectively. That’s where Plaud steps in with their revolutionary Note device, which uses AI technology to record audio of your meetings and automatically organise your conversations into concise meeting notes, transcripts and professional plans. While other tools are able to do this via online video conferencing, Plaud takes AI out into the real world, able to do the same for in-person meetings and phone calls.

Available at Plaud.

Audio-Technica AT-LP7X, £699

Audio-Technica AT-LP7X

The LP7X keeps things deliberately minimal: a matte black finish, sharp lines and a solid, reassuring presence that feels more studio-inspired than showy. Under the surface, though, it’s very much about getting the fundamentals right. A heavy MDF plinth and thick acrylic platter help control resonance and vibration, while the J-shaped aluminium tonearm, inspired by Audio-Technica designs from the 1960s and ’70s, offers adjustable VTA and anti-skate for listeners who like to fine-tune.

Available from Audio-Technica.

Technogym Bike, £3,620
