Macallan’s First Whisky Lounge in London

Macallan Whisky Lounge Vauxhall

We love whisky. Some might say we love it a bit too much. Fortunately, not the guys at Macallan who have opened their first lounge in London for devotees of the dram. Housed in Four Degree in Vauxhall, the lounge matches the restaurant’s phenomenal pan Asian delights with bottles from Suntory, Bruichladdich, Tomintoul and a vast collection of Macallan 40-Year-Old. The only question is whether to say slàinte or kanpai.

Macalllan Whisky & Bruichladdich Islay Barley Octomore

What to taste: The Macallan 40 is a must-try in any of its iterations, but for something more unusual sample Tomintoul’s port finish or, for the brave, the 63% super-peated Islay Barley Octomore from Bruichladdich; www.themacallan.com
