I share your prediction. But I think it's the result of political change at Rolex. They try to target less discriminating buyers with poor tastes as such buyers are easier to persuade what to buy.

It's about as ugly as the Tesla Cybertruck is. I have many Rolexes but would never buy one that looks like the Land-Dweller.

Definitely, NOT an elegant, luxury look that I would expect from Rolex.

The Land Dweller is so ugly. The designers revived the failed older Rolex quartz model of 1970s. It may be mechanically superb but is aesthetically NOT pleasing. I suppose, Rolex try to cater to buyers with poor taste.
