Grandeur Introduce Tilt 24° Angled Tourbillon with Transparent Case

July 27, 2026
It's super cool. Love to see and try on. Some red flag questions I wish you'd asked rather than just giving us just a press release: What is the exact calibre designation, frequency, jewel count, stated accuracy and service interval? Is the movement entirely designed and manufactured in the Chinese factory, and which operations are completed in China, Texas or elsewhere? What is the precise technical composition of UltraClear 8 glass? Is it mineral, aluminosilicate or another material? What is the water-resistance rating? What is the replacement cost for the transparent case components? What is the current price and expected turnaround for a complete tourbillon service? Is this watch physically completed and available for immediate delivery, or is the order considered a non-refundable preorder? Can you provide current unedited video of the actual production watch, including winding, setting, power-reserve operation and timing-machine results? Can I return it after inspection if unworn, and will that be confirmed in writing before payment? Thanks!

Everything You Need to Know About the Titanium Revolution

November 9, 2025
Lightweight watch aficionado here. Wish all my watches were sub 60 grams Thanks for clearing up the mystery of why oh why Omega’s “superlight” 55gram watch is 50k +++. Something magic about the Ti blend and the plates and bridges were lightened with ceramized Ti. (??!). All to achieve 55 grams… Yet… A CW Colchester has a regular old COSC SW200, same retractable crown, and in carbon composite is 38 grams - 1500 bucks A Ming Ghost is 35 grams (!!) with a grade 2 case and regular SW300 inside - 3500 CHF The Ming Bluefin - a steel 600m dive watch - has a 58 gram case weight, and it’s not at all designed to be light! How is it that the Omega super expensive not so light AT is so uncompetitive?

The Frodsham Connection: Are Rolex’s 2025 Innovations Actually New?

October 2, 2025
It's the Rolex way to take a low profile innovation - claim it as your own - and in a few years write a book claiming you were first and it was your innovation. Yes doing it at scale is different - but with infinite resources behind you, that is the easy part.

Zenith x Time + Tide Defy Skyline Skeleton White Surfer Watch Review

July 28, 2025
Hey Sam Nice review, and I’m with you on white ceramic case and bracelet being the bees knees. BUT - that washed out blue was a fail for me. I managed to see it in person and put on my wrist .. next to the brilliant blue on versions #1 and #2 , it looks washed out. I had version 2 with me to compare directly. Another issue : in #2 you see a flashing purple escape wheel whizzing away at 10pm, it’s beautiful - and it’s been made invisible in this model. Lastly, the hands contrasted poorly against the pale dial color, unlike the #2 night surfer. Conversely, the standard white ceramic skyline defy - is entirely too dark. I really want a white ceramic zenith but they keep whiffing on the color!

Fears Experimental 01 For World Record Attempt and Commemorative Brunswick 40 ‘Odyssey Edition’

May 15, 2025
I do similar of endurance kayaking on the coast of British Columbia. Hands wet with seawater most of an 8 to 10 hour day. The reinforced spring bar solution is a good idea - spring bars can fail with a heavy knock and watch will always be lost. The astounding miss for me is that Fears didn’t make it from titanium. Freezing cold water can make steel painful on the skin and weight matters A LOT. Making it as light as possible is essential.
