If you’ve ever wanted to visit the workshops where the famous Royal Oak was born – or you just fancy a spot of skiing across the Vallée de Joux – you may soon have a new luxury destination of choice. The proposed Audemars Piguet Hôtel des Horlogers will comprise of 70,000 square feet of Swiss luxury, connected to the Musée Atelier with a spa, bar and restaurant. Hopefully they can avoid a horologically-themed menu; we get enough of that in Geneva. Either way, the plans look nothing short of spectacular – a fine fit for AP.
