As military watches go, the Vertex M100 is by far one of the more authentic out there; it’s a watch I’m determined to prise from my family collection. But then, what do you expect? It’s a modern update of the legendary Dirty Dozen piece. Well, just as every military has its covert operatives, now Vertex has the M100 Black DLC – and it. Is. Awesome.
It’s amazing what a little change of coat can accomplish. What was once a charming, obviously vintage-inspired piece is now a meaner, darker and altogether cooler timepiece. It still has the same movement of course, still that same authentically Vertex dial but is an entirely different animal. The fact that the DLC doubles as an extra layer of armour is just a bonus.
