Truly works of art for the wrist, Daigremont’s entire premise is hand-painted oil reproductions of famous artworks placed directly onto watch dials, with the catalogue running through Van Gogh, Vermeer, Klimt, Monet, Goya, Turner, Cézanne, Renoir and more. Each dial is designed, painted and assembled in France, housed in a bronze case with a custom rotor painted to match the artwork on the front.
The standing catalogue is priced at €2,200, with a one-off Monet Les Coquelicots prototype listed at €5,400. A personalisation service lets you commission any painting outside what’s already on the menu, so if your favourite isn’t there yet, it can be.

Yuen Y-01 Nascence
Each dial is built up by hand from individually cut and coloured tiles of mother-of-pearl, laid onto a brass base by a single artisan to form a mosaic before a fumé layer goes over the top. The result is a Y-01 Nascence with a marquetry dial pattern that’s genuinely unique on every watch, paired with a four-component case construction topped by swooping cornes de vache lugs, the flared horn-shaped style made famous by the Vacheron Constantin Cornes de Vache 1955 chronograph.
Pricing is set at $888 including all taxes and duties, so the figure at checkout is the figure you actually pay. The 39mm by 9.9mm case is nice and the Miyota 9039 is a trusty steed.

Alcadus Quantra ‘Gemstone’, $910 (approx. £534)
Stone dials continue to be popular in the Microbrand sphere and the new Quantra “Gemstone” from Malaysian brand Alcadus pushes the material further in green jade, purple jade and yellow mellite. The 0.6mm thick stone sector dials sandwich a layer of BGW-9 lume, letting the luminescence shine through in low light. The 36mm 316L case carries a scratch-resistant coating rated to around 800 Vickers, with a 44mm lug-to-lug and a slim 10.5mm thickness, finished off with a boxed sapphire crystal and five layers of inner AR coating.
Underneath is an Automatic Hangzhou Micro-rotor 5100A, paired with a custom Alcadus micro-rotor visible through the caseback, plus 100m of water resistance and a screw-down crown. Live on Kickstarter now with free international shipping included.

Emerton Scott Evermont 38 (Gen 2) Celestial Blue
A refined design that punches well above its price tier, the Evermont 38 from British microbrand Emerton Scott pairs applied indices with a rose gold rosette logo on a watch that comes in under £600. The dial uses high-pressure stamping to create what they call a ‘mountain-face texture’ finished with a fumé gradient, sitting beneath sapphire on a 38mm by 10.3mm case.
The integrated bracelet has seamless end-links and a built-in micro-adjustment clasp, which is increasingly the must-have feature on integrated bracelets. Underneath is a Miyota 9015 rebadged as the ES-M9015, decorated with Geneva waves and blued screws and visible through the sapphire caseback.

Mezei First Anniversary Edition
Available to order for one month only, May 2026, the First Anniversary Edition marks the first year of London microbrand Mezei with a funky, colourful new dial placed onto their signature sunray fluted finish. Founder Sandor Mezei built the brand around minimal, mono-colour dials, so this multi-coloured release is a deliberate departure for the anniversary, paired here with a steel bracelet rather than the leather strap of the launch trio. The 40mm by 11.7mm case has 50m of water resistance and houses a Miyota 9015 with hacking seconds and a 42-hour reserve. Each piece is built personally against orders placed during the May window, so delivery rolls into later in the year.
