Beda’a introduces the Angles Guichets, the first watch in the Angles collection to feature a complication, present in the form of a new 24-hour display with day and night indicators. It’s also one of the most distinctive watches in the range, replacing the standard dial with the titular ‘guichets’ layout where the majority of the dial is an extension of the case with apertures through which you can see the time display – a style that had a resurgence following the Cartier Tank à Guichets from last year.
The case measures 37mm in diameter and 6.3mm in thickness, constructed from 316L stainless steel. There are two versions being produced with the second featuring a gold plated finish. The watch maintains the Angles collection’s distinctive eight-faceted case geometry with integrated lugs across three stepped levels. That angular, geometric style is maintained across the new metallic dial cover, with vertical bars across the length of the display.

Beneath the metal, the lacquered dial operates on a 24-hour cycle through two aperture displays. The upper aperture shows hours from 6 to 6 with Sun and Moon indicators travelling across the opening to mark day and night. Meanwhile, the lower aperture displays minutes in five-minute increments using a fine arrow marker flush with the dial surface.
Inside, Beda’a uses a modified Peseux 7001 calibre, a hand-wound movement originally manufactured by the Swiss company founded in 1923. The brand worked with a Swiss partner to modify the gear train to run at half speed, completing a full rotation in 24 hours instead of the standard 12. The movement maintains a 42-hour power reserve despite the modification.

The Angles Guichets comes with a custom calfskin leather strap that features embossed detailing and stitching. The strap includes a matching stainless steel buckle. In terms of water resistance, the watch offers 3 ATM protection, suitable for everyday wear.
Both stainless steel and gold-plated versions join Beda’a’s permanent collection. The Angles Guichets retails for CHF 1,800 (approx. £1,700) for both variants. That feels like appropriate value given the modified movement and unusual display, while respecting that this is ultimately a time only watch.
