Eska SK25 Heritage Chronograph, £1,869

ESKA SK25 Heritage Chronograph

Motorsport has changed a lot over the years as technology develops, but there’s nothing so evocative and beautiful as a vintage race car. That’s what inspires the ESKA SK25 Heritage Chronograph which brings a retro flair to a bicompax chronograph design powered by the La Joux-Perret L113 manual movement. It looks particularly good in its neo-vintage style cream dial edition.

Available at Eska.

Their debut collection consists of the London Smoke, Arctic Blue, and Racing Green, each dedicated to an aspect of British ingenuity or architecture. Each features an attractive guilloché style display in grey, blue or green, respectively, with casebacks engraved with London landmarks, ships or race cars.

Anders & Co. AC2 Volcán, £379 – £540

Anders & Co. AC2 Volcán

Stone dial watches and vintage proportions are the watch words when it comes to the new AC2 Volcán by Anders & Co. With a 37mm cushion case featuring dials in a choice of lapis lazuli, red agate, tiger’s eye, and green jade, as well as a traditional sunray brushed ice blue version, it’s a lovely little dress watch. Beneath the dial is the Miyota 9T22 slim quartz movement, providing excellent accuracy, convenience and most importantly, slim proportions.

Available at Anders & Co.

Rafter Watches Arpeggio Automatic, $325 – $400 (approx. £240 – £300)

Rafter Watches Arpeggio Automatic

Rafter Watches’ debut original creation is available via Kickstarter throughout November. It’s inspired by the world of music, with a paper texture dial that features openworked slits in the style of a string instrument’s sound holes. The hour and minute track takes the form of a piece of sheet  music’s staff, complete with repeat symbol at 12 o’clock due to the continuous nature of time. The hands then take the form of clefs, notes and rests. Inside is the Seiko NH70.

Available at Rafter Watches.

Yema Rallygraf Alpine Cup Series, £442

They feature a new generation Rallygraf case, measuring 39mm, and 0.8mm thinner than previous Rallygrafs. It features the classic, heritage inspired chronograph display with bicompax subdials in a shape reminiscent of a dashboard viewed through a steering wheel.
