After successfully conquering New York and other cities across the globe, world-renowned chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten has just opened a stunning restaurant at The Connaught hotel on Mount Street, Mayfair. The new establishment will give guests a unique culinary experience which blends Far East and South-east Asian cuisine with classic British dishes, promising “gourmet dining, all-hours, in a relaxed, contemporary setting”. Carefully-curated cocktails and afternoon tea will also be served daily, along with traditional finger sandwiches all with a witty Jean-Georges twist.

The man himself: Jean-Georges Vongerichten
Unlike the classic design of The Connaught hotel, interior architect John Heah has completely re-designed the restaurant layout to give it a more contemporary vibe. Under his supervision, the ceiling and walls have been converted into windows accented by stained glass from artist Jean-Michel Othoniel creating an open air space.
